Lemieux Creek Ranch raises 100% grassfed beef with no antibiotics, no growth hormones and no grain. Our beef comes from pairing two hearty Scottish Breeds – Galloway and Angus. The result is a cross-bred product that is not only good for your health, but it excels in flavour and tenderness. Les and Chris Yates have been cross-breeding Galloway and Black Angus cattle at Lemieux Creek Ranch for 20 years. The ranch is located in the beautiful Bulkley Valley in west-central British Columbia, near the Town of Telkwa, approximately half way between Prince George and Prince Rupert. Our goal is to raise healthy food from healthy animals. We are a family farm and are proud to provide a healthy alternative to beef products currently sold through the traditional food chain. We tend the land to ensure the grass is plentiful and nutritious so that from May to November our cattle will thrive on rolling tame pastures and allow us to make high quality winter feed for the cows and calves. We believe the quality of the meat we sell is the result of both the feed and the approach we take to raising our cattle. Our animals are born on the ranch and stay on the premises until harvest.

Availability:
We sell 100% grassfed beef by the side. We harvest animals between October and December and direct market to consumers. We have customers in the Bulkley Valley, Prince Rupert and Vancouver. Our production is limited and we encourage advance orders that are guaranteed with a small deposit. We are now taking orders for the fall of 2014.
